Why France is a great place for extreme sports?
There are so many skateparks to skate in France and great extreme sports events. The most famous event is the FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) in Montpellier, created in 1997 by Hervé André-Benoit. This competition remains one of the biggest in the world, like the X Games in the USA.
“The FISE brings together a broad range of extreme disciplines in one sunny spot: Mountain Bike Slopestyle, BMX Freestyle, BMX and Flatland, Sk8, Aggressive inline skating, Wakeboard and Parkour.”
