Ranking and referencing
What this section covers
RideMyPark references and ranks content published by third parties: the spot, event and shop listings contributed by the community. This section explains the criteria used to rank and reference that content, as required by article L.111-7 of the French Consumer Code.
Ranking criteria
By default, results are ranked by distance: the listing closest to the reference point comes first. The reference point is your location if you allowed it, otherwise the centre of the area or map view you are looking at.
No payment influences ranking
No payment, subscription, partnership or consideration of any kind can improve a listing's position in results, place it at the top of a list, or have it featured. The service sells no advertising space and displays no sponsored content.
How a listing gets referenced
Listings are created by community members, then published after review. There is no paid editorial selection: any spot, event or shop matching the purpose of the service can be added free of charge by any member.
Reviews and ratings
The reviews and ratings shown on listings are published by registered members. They are not checked against actual experience: we do not verify that a member really visited the place they are rating.
