Terms of use

Purpose

RideMyPark (“RMP,” “the service”) is a community platform for discovering and sharing skate spots (skateparks, street spots, pumptracks), events and shops. These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website and the app.

Accounts

Creating an account requires a valid email address, or signing in via a third-party provider (Google, Apple). You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Minimum age

Signing up is restricted to people aged 15 or over. In France, 15 is the age from which a person can consent on their own to the processing of their personal data (art. 45 of the French Data Protection Act).

Member content

You are solely responsible for the content you publish (spots, events, shops, photos, reviews, messages) and you warrant that you hold the necessary rights, in particular for any photos you upload.

License to your content

You retain ownership of your content. To allow the service to operate, you grant RideMyPark a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt (resize, crop), display and distribute your content as part of the service and its promotion.

Moderation

Any content may be reported by the community. We may remove or hide content, reject a contribution, or suspend an account in the event of a breach of these Terms or of the law, in particular following a report.

Reporting content

Anyone, with or without an account, can report content they believe to be unlawful or contrary to these terms, using the “Report” button available on listings, reviews and profiles, or by writing to contact@ridemypark.com.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”: listing information (hours, access, condition of features) is contributed by the community and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Practicing skate sports is entirely at your own risk, in compliance with the rules of each location.

Ranking and referencing

The criteria used to rank and reference listings on the service (search results, “nearby” selections, lists by area or category) are described in the dedicated “Ranking and referencing” section, reachable from the footer.

Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Audience measurement is only activated with your consent (cookie banner, revocable via “Manage cookies”).

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
