Don’t worry it will be quick and instructive. For those who don’t want to read 😊, there is a video section with FISE highlights for each year starting from 2010 ! Common guys :), it’s not that bad even it starts in 1997.
The FISE was created in 1997 by Hervé André-Benoit (a student at Montpellier’s Business school) when he got the idea to organize an international action sports festival as part of his study project which was a success. Over the last 20+ years, the FISE Montpellier becomes the biggest extreme sports event in Europe, with more than 600,000 spectators to support the 2,000+ riders who attend every year.
After 18 successful years in France and Europe, FISE launched its inaugural World Tour in 2014. The first FISE WORLD SERIES (FWS) took place in France, Andorra, China and Malaysia, The FWS is multidisciplinary and international. It brings together the best athletes from Skateboard, Mountain Bike, Aggressive inline Skating, BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland, Parkour and many others. Each year, more than 2700 professional and amateur athletes from more than 40 countries follow the FWS stages hosted by emblematic cities.
