There are so many skateparks worldwide, so we had a very hard time choosing our favourites especially when skateparks are now a familiar part of the urban landscape. Explore this article and discover the best spots around the world to practice your skateboard, roller-blade, scooter, and BMX skills.

10. Nike SB Shelter, Berlin, Germany

This concrete skatepark (800 square meters) is well located in the heart of Berlin. The Skatehalle offers a broad range of possibilities through gaps, ledges hubbas, transitions, rails and banks. The park is public (open to everybody with a skateboard).

9. Murasaki Sports Park, Tokyo, Japan

Called as “Amazing Square”, this skatepark is probably Japan’s first skatepark. It offers massive variation for both vert skaters and street. There is also an obscene four-metre vert ramp with a big tunnel pipe that has a sphere shaped.

8. Skatepark Galit, Tel Aviv, Israel

Why this park in the TOP 10 ? Because it is the first concrete skatepark in Israel. It was built and designed by local skaters. It features a sized bowl, fun box with ledges and rails and some stairs.

7. Venice Beach Skatepark, California, USA

The Venice Beach Skatepark was created in 2009 right into the sand fronting one of California’s most famous beach cities. Therefore it is a very cool sunny place (16,000 square-foot). There are a snake, ramps, boxes, a street area with rails and also steps. It was well designed both by local riders and skating professionals. Below the full review in video.

6. Louisville Extreme Park, Kentucky, USA

The park is known as the Louisville Extreme Park with a 24-foot full pipe (one of the biggest in USA). With 40,000 square foot, it’s a crazy public skatepark located near downtown Louisville, Kentucky, in the Butchertown neighborhood. You will find an insane full pipe, bowls, fun boxes, a street course, a flat bank, ledges, rails, a wooden vert ramp.

5. SMP Skate Park, Shanghai, China

It is a fantastic parc for vert skating ! Formerly the largest skatepark in the world at 44,936 square feet with the biggest bowls, ramps and a massive full pipe, a full street course, pyramids, rails, and more.

4. Prado Bowl, Marseille, France

France’s largest outdoor skatepark.  It’s a must-stop for skaters travelling through Europe. Indeed, there deep bowls, multiple vert ramps !

3. Kona Skatepark, Florida, USA

Kona Skatepark was created in Jacksonville, Florida USA in the late 70’s. It has survived all difficulties of the action sports industry and three economic recessions. So, Kona is the “longest surviving privately owned skatepark” in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. 

This concrete skatepark features two pool style bowls, one with extension, a snake run, mini ramp and also few street features.

2. Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark, California, USA

This skate park is inane! It’s the California’s Largest Skatepark with 68,000 square feet. It features :

  • the world’s Tallest Vert Wall

1. Black Pearl Skatepark, Cayman Islands

The largest outdoor skatepark in the word ! A dream for all riders which is quite expensive (fees here). There are heaps of rad bowls, banks, snake runs,and a cool full pipe section.
